Updates to the site!

18th of May, 2026 ∘ Wow, those are a lot of changes! In a relative sense, that is.

Attentive readers may have noticed that a lot of changes have happened: posts have gotten a lot prettier, for one! Those who follow us on social media already know of the liking we take to digital collages, so we went forward and made a thumbnail for every post on the site. The mobile experience has also been made a little bit more pleasurable, and posts look quite good now.

The structure of the group has also been changed radically, mostly out of multifaceted necessity, though we remain committed to those who've stuck with us in this journey thus far. There are few better ways to have fun than to stick it to small rightsholding tyrants and landlords.

We have also created a translation system for Brazilian Portuguese, expanding bilingual coverage on the site, which has been a long time coming. Most of the translated content is hand-written, though some has been touched up from text put through the LibreTranslate API. Eventually, we'll also use the API to translate posts automatically.

On the topic of APIs: we'll have one soon, especially for the purposes of dealing with our membership system. It should be up at a convenient date; those who try to join will go through the normal membership flow but be stopped at the end by a message asking them to send over an e-mail.

There are lots of projects in the works. This post is mostly a way to say: we're still alive! Come join us!
